A profile service is a system that manages detailed information about each individual player within a game. It acts as a player's 'profile', recording all their in-game actions, achievements, and possessions. In a massively multiplayer online game (MMO), profiles can contain essential personal information such as the player's name, avatar, and can be used to retrieve information about other users.
